I'm not sure whether I need coaching or therapy?
We always start with coaching—a future-oriented, goal-driven process designed to help you achieve personal or professional objectives. Therapy is introduced only when the coaching process reveals a need for deeper work, focusing on in-depth exploration of psychological issues and personal growth. The involvement of horses can be included or excluded, depending on your preferences or the specific requirements of the work.
How long does one session typically last?
Coaching sessions with horses typically last up to 3 hours, while online or phone sessions range from 1 to 1.5 hours. Therapy sessions usually last 2 hours.
How many sessions are needed? Is one session enough?
Sometimes, one session can create a deep shift and be all that a person needs at that moment. However, the true benefit of coaching lies in consistency and the application of newly gained insights into daily life. It is strongly recommended to have sessions once per month, or more frequently depending on the topics and critical aspects in your life. Similar to therapy, the number of sessions required depends on your ability to integrate new ideas, tools, and practices into your everyday routines.
What if I’m afraid of horses or prefer not to work with them?
If you're afraid of horses but still wish to work with them, there's no need to worry—I will guide you through your fear or anxiety at your own pace. The horses are safe and have been working with therapy clients for 15 years, so they know their part of the job well. However, if you prefer not to work with horses, there are still many effective options available. We can tailor sessions to focus on other methods, such as online coaching, phone sessions, or traditional counseling and therapy techniques. The goal is to ensure your comfort while still achieving meaningful personal growth and transformation.
Are there any age, weight, or health condition limits when working with horses?
Yes, regarding age, weight, and health conditions, there can be limits not for the work itself but for specific activities. However, everyone can benefit from working with horses. Each session, including exercises and activities, will be carefully designed to suit your personal needs and possibilities, ensuring a safe and rewarding experience.
Would it be possible for my partner or a family member to join the session with me?
Yes, if needed, we can work with both of you—whether you're partners, parent and child, friends, or colleagues—and focus on your relationship during the session.
